Nelly Sutjiadi is an AI strategist, impact investor, and serial entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience building, advising, and investing across blockchain, biotech, fintech, real estate, and artificial intelligence. She is Co-Founder and Chairwoman of Saakuru Labs, formerly AAG, and Co-Founder of TheNalara and SiloTech. Across these companies, her work focuses on building access-first technology systems that protect human dignity and turn economic inclusion into infrastructure. She is also the creator of the AKSES Framework and AKSES Scorecard, a five-part design discipline for building, funding, adopting, and evaluating AI that truly expands access. Through Saakuru Labs’ partnership with PHSI Foundation and her collaboration with Sofia Koswara, Nelly helps advance the mission of the Noor AI Education System: to equip millions of Indonesians not merely to follow the AI economy, but to shape it. Her work is grounded in a simple conviction: “doing well by doing good” is not a slogan, but a system that must be put into practice.

With chapters in more than 10 Asian countries, the organization is expected to reach over 10 million families this year. Nelly earned an MBA in Management Information Systems from San Diego State University and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, with honors, from Iowa State University. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano and guitar, and singing. She and her husband, Solomon Liu, are blessed with three remarkable sons. As a family, they love throwing balls and frisbees with Miracle, their Belgian Malinois rescue.
